A truly stunning page. It's a crime that the early issues aren't collected in a trade paperback.

One of Michael Golden's most notable works and this exemplied what he brought to the table with a fresh vigor that was already advanced enough to assault the upcoming decade. Every panel has an intense amount of line concentration to bring out the best blend of image and story. Golden launched Micronauts to success and gave Marvel the reputation of being able to handle licensed properties and all which followed. It also influenced the art style of new and emerging artists of the 80's.

Golden didn't draw the page to look like a movie, he drew it to look like a particular movie – the Sci-fi Blockbuster of 1978. The alternating close-ups and full-shots which are still near the characters make you feel like you're in the room/scene with them, and makes the battle of these aliens, robots, and weird-dressed people real. No wonder this book won so many people over!

My takeaway from this page is a little more nuts'n'bolts. Golden goes to great lengths to disguise that this page only has people talking. It takes tremendous storytelling skill to find a way to make a 'debate page' interesting. Plenty to learn from even the quiet pages.
