The collection is mostly MICRONAUTS (with some focus on villain BARON KARZA), but there's some BATTLESTAR GALACTICA, GRIMJACK, my massive DOCTOR DOOM sketch card collection (with a few published pieces), and some ROM: SPACEKNIGHT.
I'm attempting to assemble all the pages from ROM Annual #2. Please help out if you can!
Collection highlights to linger on here:
...a complete MICHAEL GOLDEN issue of MICRONAUTS (Issue #11)
...probably one of the larger accumulations of Simonson's BATTLESTAR GALACTICA
...the three complete (though unpublished) issues of Marvel's 1998 MICRONAUTS. All original artwork, including the covers and prelims, is present; but now also includes modern inked-blueline pages of the unfinished portion, as well as a recently-commissioned series of covers. Personally, I feel very fortunate that I already have my #1 'Grail' already in my possession. Marvel's Micronauts #11 is one of only a select few comics that I recall exactly where I was the first time I read it. The experience of actually possessing all the original art from that issue is almost indescribable... but the closest I can come to it is... I feel like I actually own a piece of my childhood. It remains, un-touched and un-aging, in a portfolio in my office. Would that qualify as a definition of 'nostalgia?'
Against that acquisition, most other pages aren't quite on the same 'grail' level, but many are still very desirable.
