DescriptionBatman the Animated Series was so important to fostering my love of comics, animation, and filmmaking that I had to pick up at least some piece of original art from the show. In retrospect I’m glad I decided to stick with an animation drawing now that I’ve heard what a pain it is to store cels — that is unless I find a cel featuring the Demon from my favorite episode “The Demon Within” then I’m definitely snatching that up storage be damned! Unfortunately I have no idea who animated this scene so I’ve just entered Bruce Timm into the credits box so please excuse my ignorance and the annoyance that this piece will now show up in searches for Timm’s work.Update- Sold 2/23 Social/Sharing |

I have some Trial drawings and the credits identify Dong Yang Animation as the company which did the animation on this episode. It's great to have the guest character Janet Van Dorn with Batman as the correct episode is easy to establish.

Thanks for the ID, I'll add that to the credits. I wish I could say I grabbed this one because I recognized Janet and could identify the episode but really I was just looking for the best image of Batman I could get that wasn't an awkward in-between.

That's a great drawing from BTAS! I'm with you, The Demon Within is one of my favorite episodes as well. There's some good cels from that episode on ebay. Storing cels is not as big of a deal as it sounds. Hope you get one!
