Lake Como Comic Art Festival 2019.

A commission by the GREAT R�gis Loisel was one of my primary objectives for LCCAF 2019... I feared it would have been tough since I could only be there on the second day and the risk the artists would have the sketch list already full on Sunday was there... and for many artists it was (Guarnido, for example).
Luckily for me, Loisel had a few slots available, and, being myself a huge Disney fan and him having illustrated a magnificent Disney story for Gl�nat, "Caf� Zombo" (unpublished in Italy at the moment), I requested him a color Uncle Scrooge... he gladly accepted (even though it was only the second time he would have illustrated the character).

Can't describe the feeling to being there, talking with him while he gave life to Scrooge on paper using colors and brushes and pastels and everything he had in his magic "tool box"... that's something that really has no price. And he created a powerful, personal, surely not politically correct version of Uncle Scrooge. This has to be one of the most beautiful, powerful, and interesting rendition of the character EVER!
