I recall this issue strongly - when MICRONAUTS went to direct-sales for the first time (i.e. sold exclusively to comic book stores); while a trendsetting experiment in distribution for 1984, it was a tremendous inconvenience for this rural-based Micro-fan. The nearest comic book store was over an hour away, located in a city too intimidating for a novice driver. It took a few months (!) before my subscription began, and by that time I'd missed a handful of issues. This confrontation with the tiny version of Victor Von Doom was my re-introduction to the book, in it's new publishing size.

Danny Bulanadi is credited with inking this issue, but the Acroyear figure on the left really looks like editor Milgrom's inks. After pointing this out to him, Al concedes it looks like his work, though he doesn't recall working on the page in particular. I'm going to credit him with an inking assist in the credits.
