Very handsome! This is the Aquaman that made Courtney Thorne Smith weak in the knees!

Sad news to wake up to today. RIP Butch Guice. Thanks for sharing, Derek

Wow! This has to be the least Guice looking and least DeZuniga looking art of both of their careers! Done that way on purpose, of course. So wild! The nice thing about it is that Butch really liked DeZuniga's art, so it's great that he finally got the opportunity to mesh artistic styles with him on this issue.

The rest of the book is as you'd expect. Super-deliberate choice here, but it feeds into my nostalgia for the Filmation show.
Then the next page is all 'gritty' and 'realistic' to contrast the opening page.
What they were going for works to fantastic effect.

Oh yeah, I know. I've seen the book, as I used to look at every issue backwhen it was being published, just to see the art. This page is very fun and incredibly unique!

Wonderful cover that brings back memories of renting VHS tapes in the 1980s of old superhero cartoons like Aquaman, Shazam! and Superman that I otherwise never would have seen as a kid. And it's great to see Tusky get some overdue respect with a cover appearance!
