Description

I wanted a piece from the talented Jonathan Wayshak in my collection. Met Jon displaying his art at a few events and have become a fan of both him as a person and artist. Way$hak has a unique style full of energy.

My collection centers around published pieces. So my first Way$hak piece needed to be one. This artwork was used for a cover of The Amory Wars series and Jon made it available during the most recent ComicArtLive. He delivered the painting to me during the OAX 2025 show. Making this a total CAF purchase!

Unfortunately any scan does not do the colors on this justice. Even more striking to view in person.

Beautiful piece with Wyashak using so many techniques within the simple color palette. From dry brushing to gradient blending, every use serves a purpose for the overall effect.

Really great colored cover piece that translates pretty much as is perfectly to print! Armory Wars is an interesting sci-fi series/accompanyment to the band Coheed & Cambria (one of my personal favorites too!) and their albums - very cool pickup Lee!
