Description

Helspont with the assembled villains, which is from the opening credits of the show! The additional photo shows the assembled villains in a screen capture from the show as an example of how it looked on TV.

This is a rare chance to own production animation art from the Jim Lee WildCATs show. These cels were created in 1994 by animation studio Nelvana. The cels are in excellent condition. This is a must-have for any fan of animation or the Jim Lee created WildCATs franchise.

Each cel is painted on a clear piece of plastic. I scanned them with a white piece of paper behind them to make it easier to see the detail.

Cel animation was the dominant form of animation used across Hollywood for much of the 20th century, as popularised by Walt Disney Studios. It wasn’t until 1995 that the first computer-generated film arrived in Toy Story, from the then-new studio, Pixar.
