Classic look and feel with the iconic stare and spot lighting around Bela's eyes. McKean's keen use of colors keeps your eyes mesmerized much like Dracula's power. Brings a new energy to a familiar face we've all come to revere.

Absolutely gorgeous. When was this one done, and which monster is missing from the set? Thanks for sharing!

Yes,the lighting and red eyes are really tremendous on this! Beautiful color piece. Also like the rectangular edges apparent throughout the piece. Very interesting way to break up the page. Thanks for sharing!

It looks like a collage of different paintings. I noticed it in the different ears, eyes, and collars in different panels. He manages to pull it all together as a cohesive image. Is it an allegory for perception by different viewers or artists? Does it represent the various depictions of Dracula in different films, the sum of which create a greater cultural icon? Is it just visual experimentation? Really interesting piece. Not much of what gets posted (my stuff included) makes me think as much as this one did. Congrats, this is a phenomenal painting.
