DescriptionIn 1977, Joe Kubert published an over-sized comic magazine named "Sojourn". It contained two to three page stories from some of the industry greats. One of these was Doug Wildey. He contributed his story "Eddie Race, Investigator".Always hoped to add a piece from the creator of Jonny Quest into my art collection. Was very excited when I came across this set of three published pages from Sojourn #2 and two unpublished pages which would have been used in issue #3 had it ever been produced. They were being sold by the Joe Kubert Estate. This page 10 in the publication, but page 6 in the Eddie Race story. Was thrilled to have the iconic Doug Wildey signature added to this page! Overall image area of the page is a slightly oversized 11" x 17". Social/Sharing |

They are all high quality work. I like the faces, the body language used, the screentones, the shadows, the blocking of action and the camera angles. This one, because of the fear in her eyes, is just startling.

So glad that you enjoyed these Marcus! Totally agree with your assesments of this page. Wildey's art is wonderful and just had to share all these with CAF.

All the panels are gorgeous!
Thank you Hart. The last panel in this page is strikingly similar to my Bob Lubbers Firehair one posted. Don't you agree?
