DescriptionThis really jumped out at me when I saw it on Nick Bradshaw’s website, so I just had to get it. The colors and design of Thundra’s costume have long made the character’s look a favorite of mine, and Nick just killed it here. I couldn’t be happier with it.Social/Sharing |

This is very awesome! Her color scheme is like an 80's hot wheels orange muscle car with lightning stripes. The background lines really put that speed element behind the throw. Bradshaw's hyper detailed and dynamic work continues to impress fans and his contemporaries.

Thundra ne'er looked better! Dynamic shot, love the colors and how the mace is coming right at you! Congrats!

Gorgeous composition and color work here, Michael! I love the combo of techniques Nick uses to infuse this piece with so much life and energy; from the blue speed lines (setting off the hotter colors in front), to the shading on her throwing arm (huh! So Thundra's a leftie!), to the more "orangey" shade of red used on her costume, the components all work impressively well to execute a really fun, warm, and vibrant piece! Super cool, Michael! Great pick up!

You know, there just needs to be more Thundra art of CAF, period!!!!! Enough Wonder Woman, Zatanna, and Batgirl. Enough Storm, Black Widow, and Captain Marvel. Enough Catwoman, Scarlet Witch, and Red Sonja. The next time all you guys are thinking about getting an artist commission, how about a Thundra piece? Let's make her the new "IT" female character on CAF. We can do it. THUN-DRA! THUN-DRA! THUN-DRA!

It's hard to beat her costume design and color scheme. One of my favorite pieces in my collection is my page from Fantastic Four #303 since it's written and drawn by her co-creators, Roy Thomas and John Buscema.
