The choice of the base paper is cool! It gives it the vintage old west wanted poster feel even with all the cool modern techniques of splatter, white outline, and direct view perspective!

Brilliant. Boy, does Sanford kill this one! Fantastic sense of design with the wispy dust/smoke backgrounds and white paint outline and highlights on Two-Gun's revolvers... Marcus is spot-on (as usual) about the paper color and "Wanted" poster vibe, and the paint and ink spatter simultaneously make it feel old and that some intense action has just gone down, lightning fast. I've always loved Two-Gun's black-spotted vest (in an ironic hole-ridden, "get me my brown pants" kind of way...) and it has never looked better than it does here. Fantastic score, CAB - congrats! Sanford does it again!

Hmmm, I'm finally realizing that your newest obsession isn't necessarily Western as much as it is specifically a love for the Two-Gun Kid. But nothin' wrong with that. Saddle up an' ride 'em out, pardner!

I love Westerns, but the Two-Gun Kid is an especial favorite for the reasons I set out in the Gallery. There is also a particular page from an issue that taught me a very important life lesson and which you could consider my grail. And I managed to purchase that page for a fraction of what I paid for the more expensive Silver Age art I have bought!

Me likey a lot! Some really cool artistic effects here, and the brown paper does add nicely to the Old West feel.

Another great TGK piece. The style and paper choice reminds me of an old Wanted poster. Awesome!

Thanks so much, Ian! Yes, you should get a Western piece! And they are not only great but also relatively affordable compared to superhero artwork.
