DescriptionPaul Rivoche, artist and co-creator of Mister X, famous for his covers and posters in the 1980s promoting the series, created some never-before seen covers for Mister X and they're all outstanding.He said he was having fun putting long-standing ideas about that project onto paper, things that never got done back in the day. This is the second in a series of pretend covers ("The Unseen/Unknown Mister X") called "Lair of the Murderbots". I've previously posted another called "Trail of the Sewer Snake". Underrated artist whose skills have only improved since he first came on the scene. This turned out quite nicely.

The composition has a great EC sci-fi look to it with the circle frame separating Mister X from the murderbots. Meanwhile, it's drawn in the minimalist Toth style to have a sense of crime noir.

Lovely pick up! I wonder who owns Mr.X and if Paul could publish some of his new ideas.
