DescriptionSo at one point I owned this entire issue. It takes place in Chicago and features the legendary Green Mill tavern where I spent many nights in the mid-1990s listening to swing and jazz bands, dancing the night away in my 20s. Ahhh, good times.I stupidly sold the whole issue when I needed the money for silly things like rent and food. So I was really glad when this great page came up for sale. It features the Green Mill sign, the Sun-Times, a Chicago cop, and the amazing interior of the Green Mill. (There's another couple pages that feature the nude statue inside the Green Mill with a saxophonist setting up that I will keep my eyes open to find.) It's a beauty and I'm glad to be reunited with it. Description: Eduardo Risso 100 Bullets #37 Story Page 3 Original Art (DC, 2002). Agent Graves steps into the smoky, dimly lit bar to meet Joseph Shepard. Chiaroscuro paints their confrontation, a Noir-laden exchange steeped in mystery and tension. Ink and marker over graphite DC/Vertigo Bristol board with an image area of 10" x 15". Stat text paste-ups and production tape on the top and bottom margins. Social/Sharing |

It's a great page with the landmarks that make it so unique to you. Risso did the mirror frames in the dark look so good. The smoke trail in the end is like the memories that still linger. Now you should find out if there are Club Lago pages.

Always cool when a piece of art finds its way back to where it belongs - love the architecture!

Nice page from a great series~! Good for you in getting a page from it back after letting the issue go long ago, especially one that reminds you of fond moments from your life at specific local locations.
