DescriptionBought this gorgeous piece of art during Comic Art LIVE. I haven't seen much art by Evan Cagle but I will definitely be keeping an eye out for him going forward. It is like nothing I've ever seen. Mysterious, moody, cold, peaceful. Reminiscent of Wrightson, this will have a special place in my collection. It's called "How Many Midnights?" Social/Sharing |

Everything I've seen from Cagle, this one included, is quite nice.

Gorgeous piece indeed with an unmistakable Wrightson influence. Congrats.

What Cagle is able to convey when all the lines are so focused and sharp is to achieve a crisp chilly atmosphere where nature dominates.

Reminds me of Wrightson's chapter plate work on Stephen King's Cycle of The Werewolf. Fantastic winter illustration!

Gorgeous! Cagle brings his scratchboard mentality to pen and ink and the result is perfection. Great get!
