Stormwatch 44 p22 By Tom Raney. Jenny Sparks’ Origin! The 80’s in the style of Dave Gibbons!

So glad to pick this up. From the Ellis pre Authority era. This origin issue followed Sparks’ origin through the years, and each era was expertly rendered by Raney in the style that best represents that era. This page takes place in the 80’s and what represents the 80’s better than Dave Gibbons and Alan Moore’s Watchmen?

This issue goes dark as it pays homage and criticism of comics past. A great piece that closes out Jenny’s tale as she tells it to Jackson.

11x17 pencils and inks on bristol.
