DescriptionThis is one of my favorite pages to just stare at.A fight sequence page between two of the most memorable characters of the era, drawn by the creator of Thanos, the cosmic master, Jim Starlin. It continues directly from the last page I posted and they are beautiful side-by-side. Look at the detailed border surrounding the fighters. Imagine Jim bent over the page back in 1974 slowly working on it. Adding each part. Creating the first Thanos story and also his very own legendary career. What a piece of history. Following the trail of Captain Marvel guides our gaze to see his maneuvering at each point to set up Thanos for a blow. This cosmic combat splash is Starlin melding his writing and art to create a pinnacle moment of the artform.

It's a marvelous action page that just flows from top to bottom. This is when Starlin's art was getting better issue by issue, and his personal style was becoming more and more distinct. Cheers!

Love the layout of the action and all the battle poses. Thanos is like a helpless baby and Captain Marvel just took away his lollipop! Also love the cheesy dialogue. Congrats Fisch!!

Stunning Starlin action page! It's a panel page that yearns to be a splash! Love the blow-by-blow battle sequence! All surrounded by the cool techy border! An A+++ page!
