Kiss of the Erpent ... I mean Serpent. Beautiful gothic cover by Tony DeZuniga. Always played with the idea of doing a new overlay to do the trade dress. Interesting cross over between the mystery comics and romance comics.

Classic! Has all the same elements of a paperback novel cover! It always sells with the lady in danger.

Gothic Romance paperback novels were extremely popular with the ladies from around 1966 to 1975, so DC figured they'd get into the game as well. DeZuniga was a master illustrator and this is a great example of his work!

Have to admit that I've never read any of DC's gothic romance/horror titles (this one or Dark Mansion of Forbidden Love) but I've always been interested in their genre mash-up--and have always noted how both titles had stunning cover art. This is a fantastic example--congrats!
