Micronauts 23 pg 22-23 DOUBLE PAGE SPREAD - Reunited After 30+ Years!

After my failure last year to re-unite that Guice DPS from Issue #57 (even after offering to give away my half for free!) successfully putting these two together is satisfying.

One page won at auction recently, and the other purchased privately shortly after. BIGGEST THANKS to YOU-KNOW-WHO-YOU-ARE!!

By my count, Broderick did SEVEN DPS's for MICRONAUTS during his run, and I now have two. Both of them are kinda messed-up, needing an assist from the Bullpen to get them publish-able. Extra 'space' (a strip of board attached with tape) was needed to be added to the center of one page, and there's quite a bit of blank space in the middle of the piece, confusing the intent to read across the entire two pages. (Maybe explains why the two pages were separated, too?) Broderick apparently miscalculated how much space to leave in the center, which, as I said, was an issue with my other DPS as well. All of the other DPS's by Broderick are of the Splash-y type.

Note the initial intent was for the image (and, presumably the text) of the 'HMS Endeavor' to be printed entirely in blue. Glad that inker Gil did not ink the starship on a separate page.

(For those wondering, I DID find a loving home for my half of that Guice DPS. But still disappointed I couldn't finish the job.)
