Description

I�ve accepted I�m never going to have the time to get this piece out of storage and take a proper photo of it, so you�ll have to be satisfied this image of it from back in the day.

Mike did a great job on it. It�s a mixed media piece, and from what I can tell shortly after I received it he took to doing watercolors for all his color commissions. I have one of his watercolor commissions and it�s great, but there�s something about when he uses gouache and other material that makes his work really pop.

There's definitely a few things that Rooth makes pop on this piece! The shine off that leather breathes life into the figure doing the classic big sword over the shoulder pose.

The funny thing is almost every time I commission the character the artist goes with this pose. No idea why.
