This page is from “Fingerless”, Spugna's 2020 release, which is a book without any words. You realize very quickly that the illustration itself does the talking. It's a very different story from “The Rust Kingdom”, but the creativity and imagination on display is something that really sets Spugna apart from other artists. Brings new meaning to the term original art :) Great panel page here featuring a character you haven't seen anywhere else. Guy looks trustworthy enough, right?

Very avant guarde! The world looks familar enough that you wonder what else has changed to accommodate the character.

Quirky mix of cartoonery, realism, and coxcombery in this intriguing page! Interesting that the aritst crams the head (foot?) of the character right up to the top of each panel, which should be a no-no, but somehow looks right here
