DescriptionThrilled to add this complete issue of Miracleman 25 with gorgeous art by Mark Buckingham.Wait a minute…the 25th issue of Miracleman? Did that book ever see print? Nope, it sure did not. Written, drawn and ready to go to print by the artistic team of Neil Gaiman & Mark Buckingham likely in late 1993, the book never saw the light of day and the art remained in the possession of Mark Buckingham…until this past year’s Baltimore Comic-Con. It was there that I got to spend time with Mark and his representative, Joseph Melchior of BritComicsArt, and add this piece of almost lost comic art history to my collection. Enjoy! Social/Sharing |

While some may see the “unpublished” aspect as a negative, as collectors, I think it actually plays right into our roles as caretakers of the artwork we acquire, enjoy, and protect. In this instance, you’re the one who gets the pleasure and privilege of sharing something that was always intended to be put out into the universe but never got that chance. How great is that? Thank you for this gift. And congratulations on a beautiful story.

We are twin sons of different mothers, Eric! That is EXACTY how I feel about owning this issue - it's a privilege and I love sharing it. Thanks for the gracious comment!

Oh, Joseph had mentioned this to me at Baltimore, but I wasn't able to actually see the pages when I was there. Thanks so much for sharing! This is a real treat for MM fans!

Great to see he learned his lesson from the old man and figured he was over it too and didn't need the powers to live as a god.

You mentioned you were picking up a complete issue from Joseph at Baltimore, but I didn't know if was unpublished as well. Such a cool piece of history to own and resurface, and with all the text balloons pasted on, it got pretty far into the process to never see the light of day as a comic. Congrats, and thanks for sharing!
