DescriptionI have wanted to have something by Joe Sinnott in the OML gallery for the longest time. Well, Keith Pollard did the Thor figure in pencil for this JIM #89 OML and then the great Joe Sinnott inked Thor and then penciled and inked the background himself. I love this piece. In the original, he is twirling his hammer and One Minute Later, he turns and is just about to throw the hammer. I'm thrilled with this. My most gracious thanks to Mark Sinnott for convincing his Dad to do this piece for me and even more wonderful thanks to Joe Sinnott himself for taking time from his schedule. I am thrilled, thrilled, thrilled...and thank you Scott Kress of Catskill Comics for introducing me to Mark and Joe so long ago. Social/Sharing |

The OML collection is once again touched by the hands of comic book royalty. Simply amazing.

Um... yeah. More words than that wouldn't improve the thought. :)

Keith Pollard is one of those very talented artists who is unfortunately underrated. As for Joe Sinnott, he wonderfully inked so many pencilers on Thor (Jack Kirby, John Buscema, Neal Adams, Rich Buckler, Ron Frenz) that obtaining a commission of the character inked by him is a great accomplishment. Congratulations on this one.

Sweet! 85 years old, and Sinott's still going strong . . .
