Another page from Gilbert's very long story. Here one of the lead characters HUMBERTO, an up and coming artist, is caught in a moment within his own thoughts and insecurities. Maybe Humberto in some way is a small reflection of Gilbert himself, or is it the always struggling true artist we see symbolised here?
Whatever it is, Gilbert has more than once drawn small stories revolving around himself as a serious artist struggling with writers block and lack of ideas or just letting his insecurities about his work overtake his actual accomplishments.

Ohhh, and then of course there is LA LUBA, woman of all women. (if you're into her, that is.)

This is an absolutely great page with pitch-perfect storytelling and beautifully composed panels. A true classic. Congratulations! And further congrats on a killer collection.
