DescriptionSome "ordinary" Gene Colan. He had a special touch with people and locations, almost like he was sitting at the side of the road sketching a scene rather than something described by Roger Stern's script. So I love the couple walking by, the bicycle, and how he leaves spaces that seem natural for the lettering. Notice below I also have the color guide page for this issue, which is how I first fell in love with this page. No Doctor Strange, rather a two page scene out of an old Hollywood film:"The reconstruction of the north wing has unearthed the most incredible find!" Social/Sharing |
