DescriptionUpdate: This drawing has now been inked by Doug Hazlewood. I love how it turned out. I'm posting a new before-and-after image, giving everyone a chance to leave all their "Double Vision" comments once again... thus ensuring I'm going to get that frigging song stuck in my head every time I visit this drawing on CAF.Previously... This nifty pencil commission by artist Tom Lyle was started and completed in a little over 6 months. I ran a number of possible scenarios by Tom and he picked the Thing battling the Vision from Marvel Two in One # 39. While the original cover (shown at left) by Ron Wilson and Pablo Marcos includes Daredevil, I asked for a scene from inside the comic where our Ben battles with multiple versions of the Vision. My thanks to Tom for doing such a great job on this drawing, amid teaching and other commitments. Rest in peace, Tom. Thanks for everything. Social/Sharing |

Doug Hazlewood did a PHENOMENAL job on inks -- they are stunning!!! And, wow, Lyle still has it -- tremendous. Why aren't these guys being teamed on a major book!!!!

I can't believe these two talented gentlemen aren't still in high demand in the comics industry. This is just awesome.
