DescriptionThis is the Ron Lim pencilled and inked art, drawn for the purpose of creating a B&W print that Lim and/or Jim Starlin could sign and hand out at an in-store appearance that both creators made at the well known Comics and Comix in Berkeley, California back in 1990, as promotion for Lim's Silver Surfer work & the two part Thanos Quest mini-series they did together that year!I may be mistaken, but I don't think Lim ever inked himself throughout his entire Silver Surfer run, including any of the Thanos related mini-series and as I always say, there's nothing quite like seeing the penciller's complete vision on a page, rather than as a combination of his and someone else's vision. So this is an incredible rarity in that respect. Social/Sharing |

Very cool piece of history, and interesting to see Lim's inks over himself. Just a little different than the series inkers.

That is very cool. Lim definately left his mark on the Surfer thanks to his shiny rendition during the 90s. Congrats on a great pick up!

Beautiful piece !! Ron Lim is the quintessential artist for Silver Surfer, Warlock and Thanos as far as I'm concerned. I just love the glinty way that Lim drew the Surfer.

Wow! Ron Lim was firing on all cylinders during this period, and I'm always thrilled to see something that's new (to me) from that time. A really amazing piece of work!
