Description

Here is a really fun piece of history. An early Bringing up Father daily. You can tell it predates 1918 by the style and shape of Jigg's face. By 1918 he was drawing Jigg's differently. The strip started in 1913 and very early on he established the look of Jiggs. If I had to guess, I'd say it was 1915-1916. I have 4 reprint books of this strip but none cover this period fully. Regardless, really fun to see this early work. Oh yeah...one other thing...amazingly the humor from most of the Bringing Up Fathers I have seen still are funny today.
