DescriptionNo Thor, but a great action page anyway as Ulik and Balder trade blows. This features one of my favorite Kirby motifs of the era... Ulik grinding Balder's head into the rocks, beneath which Kirby's dialogue notes to Stan say "This is no field of honor, you sap, anything goes!" That third panel is what Kirby is all about. Big mean guys slamming noble little guys down by the points of their chins.

Got to love Stan's Pig-Shakespearian dialogue. Better than "Now I shalt openeth a can of Whoopass on thee!" Rockin' page!!!

This is just an INCREDIBLE action sequence by the one and only "King" of comics. One shudders when trying to imagine what this medium would be like if not for this single man's influence on so many others during and after his time on this earth. Beautiful page Drake. Thanks for sharing it with us all.

This is great, "grinding" action, and what a difference in approach to dialogue. Stan Lee must have eaten too many Wagner biscuits.

This is exceptional!! Kirby's work on Thor is amazing and what a perfect example this is. Colletta really did the pencils justice here, too
