DescriptionThis is the concluding page to Hawkman #4 (1993) featuring Wonder Woman. Contrast this to the other Duursema Wonder Woman in this gallery. It's hard to believe that this is the same artist. The expectations and demands on comic art changed dramatically in this short time. The older piece is flowing and light, this one is weighty and dark. Soft lines have been replaced by a certain grittiness. The older one looks like it is designed to appeal more to girls, the newer one not so much. More attention is given to producing a babe, Diana's hair has about doubled in length. Everything is tighter.
