Is Ambush Bug Stocking Stuffer the greatest comic book of all time? Yes, it is. Don't argue. It's futile.

Behold, page 36! Ambush Bug searches for the meaning of Christmas in the post-Crisis DC Universe, and, after Robert Loren Fleming, Keith Giffen, and Bob Oksner go off script, gets a visit from Jonni DC, Continuity Cop! You can't make this up... Oh, wait.

Even though the story was called "I Knew I Shoulda Taken That Left Toyn Back in Albakoyky," a line associated with Bugs Bunny, I've always thought of Ambush Bug as the Daffy Duck of the DCU, and this page, in some ways, reminds me of Chuck Jones' brilliantly surreal cartoon, "Duck Amuck." After he finished this page, I can easily imagine Giffen, with a devilish grin, saying to no one in particular, "Ain't I a stinker?"

"Fun? I will give you fun!" becomes a commentary on the state of comics today. A great example, Tim, from one of the sliest, funnest comics I've ever loved.
