DescriptionA super splashy action page by Jason on the Punisher Annual he drew, written by Rick Remender.I absolutely love the first panel for the ultra dynamic Spidey pose as he is about to strike from the air. The 3rd panel is also excellent storytelling imo. Having a leg inside a panel with no body attached to it is not what is often advised but here it accentuates the speed of the scene as the main action is the reaction of the Punisher firing his gun so quick, Spidey is still in the air. Obviously the splashy 4rth panel is impressive. You really feel the impact as Spidey breaks the ground on impact. I also love the realistic move the Punisher use to dodge the blow. And the grining of the girls in the last panel is just fun as they rejoice to see the 2 heroes against each other, Spidey basically doing the work they were sent to do. Brilliant storytelling and splendid art by Jason, as always :) Social/Sharing |
