Description

Clearly inspired to James Cameron's Avatar blockbuster movie, this outstanding Topolino (Mickey Mouse magazine) cover for issue #2828 (2010) illustrated by Corrado Mastantuono features Arizona Goof (name's Indiana Pipps in Italy, Goofy's cousin, an archaeologist that is the Disney counterpart of Indiana Jones) and a character that resemble one of the blue skinned aliens of the movie.

Even tough I'm not a huge fan of the movie, I recognise its powerful aesthetic that's been someway "translated" by Mastantuono in this cover: a perfect and beautifully detailed composition here in the magnificence of Corrado's pencil work that shows his incredible craftsmanship.

Can't get much better than this.
