DescriptionI suppose this page could fall into my Team-Up gallery, as it's from a one-shot featuring Spider-Man and Marrow of the X-Men, but seeing as the board features only the mutant character, I decided to drop it in with the other denizens of the X-Mansion. I picked this page up from an eBay seller I've dealt with before, and he's a great source for bargain boards.Ale Garza's the sort of comic penciller that needs to be slotted in with just the right project, and this one fit the bill. His exaggerated style suits a bizarre character like Marrow quite well. His work often incorporates a lot of sharp angles, and it enables him to convey the grotesque physiology and bony protrusions of the mutant heroine to great effect. I also like the intensity he brings to Marrow as she apparently escapes both death and detection in this scene. Social/Sharing |
