DescriptionOkay, we all know how absolutely silly so many of DC Comics titles were during the 1930's through 1960's, but the silliness was apparently not confined just to the comics, as this example of a 1949 Superman newspaper daily strip shows. Lois Lane makes her way over to Superman's new place of employment, in order to tell him "as a sincere friend", what a fool he's making of himself! This daily shows us a gorgeous image of one of Superman's escort clients in silhouette, as well as 2 images of Lois looking quite fetching herself, in this rare Good Girl Art example. Love the panel composition on this one, Ruben. The contrasting use of light and dark make for a special piece.
