Description

Adam Warren is one of my very favourite creators, and empowered, a 'sexy superhero comedy' is one of the most consistently warm, witty, humane, exciting and just plan well drawn books out there. the adventures of warren's hapless superheroine Elissa Megan Powers (Emp), her slacker friends, cruel superhero co-workers and the galaxy of stupid and misguided villains is now in its tenth volume.

This is a cover prelim from his limited 3 issue series 'Empowered: Soldier of Love', written by Adam, and drawn by Karla Diaz Castro, a Chilean artist working out of Santiago. This rough cover was shared with Karla for the final drawing; the showdown between Emp and the �International Magical Girl of Mystery�.

Warren produces all the art work (and scripts!), all rendered in a gorgeous soft pencil, his roughs being as magical as the final versions. I'm a true fanboy.
