Description

I love the Punisher, particularly the one of Garth Ennis' stories.

You know, he's absolutely not the hero I would like to be because he's long lost any hope.
In his world, all it's black and white, and, if you're black, there's no chance of redemption.
That said, this character some way talks to a part of us, a part that for the most is well hidden inside, concealed, but it's still there. A monster that we keep in the closet, knowing that its door cannot keep a dangerous monster from running out.

Here's a magnificent Punisher rendition by Gerardo Zaffino, where he seems to be more than ready to punish us.

Great, powerful illustration! It is astonishing how Gerardo keeps the inking and overall style of his father alive. Great piece of art!
