DescriptionThis new hybrid is a tribute to the American director Tim Burton and to the man who started it all, Walter Elias Disney.Edward Scissorhands is an artificial man, who was incompletely constructed (due to the death of his creator) and has scissors for hands, leading a solitary life. Then one day, a suburban lady meets him and introduces him to her world. At first, everyone welcomes him into the community, but soon things begin to take a change for the worse. In Alberto's illustration, we see Mickey Mouse (who else?) in Edward's clothes, doing what Edward did best, creating beauty, giving shape to a dull world. This could have been the ideal final hybrid piece (and for some time it was), but when the Inspiration Muse strikes, there's no way to ignore her... so expect at least a few more coming. In the additional images, you'll find the rough prelim of this piece and also the first (aborted during the inking phase) attempt, plus the usual magnificent digitally colored piece by Lavoradori himself.
