DescriptionWith Black Panther having comprehensively beaten the Troglodytes their leader, Skol, surrenders. Note about the mysterious ‘Defenders’ – but not before he lets the Avengers know the history of Garrett Castle and the tale of mysterious costumed people sealing up the castle and taking the statue of the Black Knight away. This is the first hint the Avengers have of the ‘new’ superhero group, the Defenders. (Of course, they had already fought the ‘Titans Three’ back in Sub-Mariner #35.) I love Brown’s depiction of the unfortunate, swollen-headed leader of the Troglodytes in the top right panel.Social/Sharing |
