Roach, Paul
I have been a collector of comic artwork for over 40 years, and am now slowly adding pages from my collection to ComicArtFans. My comic collecting stretches back to 1973, and has always been focused mainly on Marvel. Living in the UK, I grew up on black and white UK Marvel reprints, making Jack Kirby Fantastic Four, Herb Trimpe Hulk and Steve Ditko Spider-Man stories ‘contemporary’ reading. When I could get hold of US comics, I gravitated towards Defenders, Man-Thing and Howard the Duck, the pages of which I avidly collect now. My brother is the comic artist and historian, David A. Roach, who also has a presence on this site.
