Defenders #33 any page
As a child I was perennially ill with ear infections, which tended to induce lucid, feverish hallucinations (including the figure of Hiawatha on my Disney wallpaper paddling a canoe from one end of my bedroom to the other). When I was eight and had just broken my latest such fever, my brother, David, walked up the road to our local newsagent and returned with a copy of Defenders #33. I was enthralled by the outlandish story of the Headmen, Nighthawk's brain, and the Hulk's baby deer. Perhaps in my addled state it all made a strange sort of sense. But the thoughtful act and the well chosen purchase made by my brother is a very special childhood memory, and any page from this issue, so beautifully drawn by Sal Buscema and Jim Mooney, would be a prized part of my collection.

Sal Buscema Artwork from Defenders
I'm interested in all of Sal's run of Defenders, and associated story arcs (Marvel Two-in-One, Marvel Team-Up, etc.). Of particular interest are the issues where his layouts were finished by Jim Mooney (#31-#34) and then by Klaus Janson (#35-#41).

Man-Thing volume 1
I collect artwork from the whole of the first series of Man-Thing, including Giant-Size Man-Thing, and from the fore-runner issues (Astonishing Tales and Adventures into Fear) - although I very rarely buy any page in which M-T is absent. Of particular interest are pages by Jim Mooney, John Buscema or Alfredo Alcala, but really the whole run was amazing. Other mid '70s Man-Thing appearances might also be appealing.

Belardinelli Inferno, 2000AD
My favourite run from 2000AD was Massimo Belardinelli's Inferno - 40 episodes from 2000AD Prog 36 to Prog 75. I am particularly interested in pages featuring the gruesome Artie Gruber.
