DescriptionThe Phantom - Wilson McCoy daily comic strip Nov 26th, 1959A daily from the Lee Falk estate, it's from the Falk/McCoy classic 'Oogooru and the Witchmen', published daily in newspapers between 5th Oct 1959 - 16th Jan 1960. Although many art critics criticise McCoy as being too simple, I am a big fan of his work. He's my favourite artist and I'm lucky to own several pieces of his work. This story in particular was re-written and re-drawn for Gold Key comics, and I've also shared a lignante page of the work in my Lignante folder from the same original story. Social/Sharing |
