Description

Frank and Grant�s three issue arc is my favorite Batman story of the 21st century. Grant does a great job as always, but its Frank that elevates the material to iconic status. Just like he always does. And he went the extra mile with this one, from the seemingly thousands of shards of glass, to the intricate detailing on Le Bossu�s face, and the perfectly executed point of view. This checks every box and them some.

That�s why this is my favorite image from the entire series. An exclamation point on a three issue run that showed a world without Bruce Wayne could not only work, but thrive and electrify as something completely fresh. I could have read Dick and Damian stories for years and years. I suspect many feel the same way. Instead I will settle for admiring this page for years and years.

Batman and Robin will never die.

Holy cow! What a Quitely! Seeing this page as it was published is great, but the original art is incredibly stunning. I am seriously in awe of this.

The detail and design is so great, Quitely really knows how to design an action packed page. Congrats on some really great pieces of his.

For me, it isn't often that an uncolored piece has as much impact as the fully rendered and colored final product. But man-oh-man! This piece is gorgeous without the colors. WOW!
