I know Byrne didn't like Layton's inks on his art but I always thought they were a nice match. Those 2 issues and the Hulk annual come to mind.

A CHOK right to the kidney! Welcome to the gang, Lang. I liked the way Layton looked over Byrne pencils. And what an awesome and historic page! It's pretty sweet that his first appearance was also a nice battle page. Congrats!
