I RUN PatrickNagelArts DM ME IF YOU HAVE ANY ORIGINALS OR CINTRA PANELS TO SELLOriginal Prismacolor on Paper "Obsessions" aka Guitar Girl by many Mukai fans. Original PrismaColor on paper signed &dated 1988. Image features his muse and model known for his famous "Lisa" serigraph (also Playboy published) actress and model Lisa Schad. 18.25" x 23.75" Image was published several times . It was Playboy Magazine Dennis Mukai's four page artist portfolio showcasing Mukai's work in February 1990 issue in which his friend and model Pamela Anderson was also Playmate of the Month. Mukai used the eyes of this image to create a very large & rare limited edition print titled "Obsessions." Now nearly impossible to find. Only 48 editions were printed. It was also published in "The Art of Dennis Mukai' the only art book he the artist has released. This is hands down one of my favorite images by Mukai. Dennis Mukai also a guitar player kept the canvas for himself. It is the only canvas he keeps from this iconic period. Social/Sharing |

Even before reading your description, it's the eyes with the eyelashes and lips that are the tightest drawn. It's the feeling that the rest of the world and the elements on the drawing can fall away because you just made eye contact with someone you will fall in love with for the very first time.
