DescriptionI love Lucey! If you had asked me a few years ago, Dan Decarlo would have been my hands down favorite Archie artist especially for the girls. Today, I am not as sure. I still love and admire Dan's work but Harry is giving him some competition. Here is a fun page from 1964 with the girls getting some sun at the beach.Social/Sharing |

Very nice vintage. Maybe they haven't figured out that Jughead would be swayed more by a hamburger. Lucey's touch made for a more compact design that made the ladies look very dolled up.
