DescriptionCover dated January 2007.Here we have Selene seducing a teenage boy, Wither, into becoming her lover and a murderer. I had written a long write-up of this page, the Selene/Wither storyline and its messed up implications, but I’ve decided to instead go with this short description and a disclaimer that I assume Marvel said somewhere at some point that Wither was at least eighteen (although murder is wrong at any age). I’m guessing we won’t be seeing this storyline make its way into a Disney+ show. Social/Sharing |

Talking about dames to kill for :) No comment on the Marvel's disclaimer and, as for the Disney+ show, I wouldn't be so sure anymore...

Congrats! Cool page from an underrated run. I like seeing the New X-Men characters whenever some writer actually uses one of them.

I suppose they can get away with claiming he's 18 years old. Unlike Deathstroke banging Terra when she was clearly no older than 13 to 15. Mind you, they still got away with that!

Yeah, that's pretty bad. I'm surprised that DC hasn't changed the dialogue in reprints to somehow reference that Terra was 18 but was pretending to be younger.

Yeah, I've thought the same exact thing! I haven't read that Titans run in ages, so I don't remember for certain, but I think at some point along the way it was mentioned that she was 13 or 14. Who knows? But I'm glad they haven't changed it, because visually speaking, nobody would believe that was an 18 year old anyway.
