I swore I wasn’t going to buy anything during CAF Live a few weeks back as I’m really trying to stay focused and not stray from my purchasing goals too much, but this is what happens when a piece within said goals pops up! I have been wanting to add a nice Super Friends page pencilled by Ramona to my collection for awhile now. Like many, some of my earliest memories of DC characters were from seeing them on the Super Friends cartoon. I knew I wanted a page with as much of the team on there as I could, so this one featuring the full team charging into action definitely spoke to me. It also has some great Superman action and in true Super Friends fashion, Superman is very concerned about the property damage his is causing. Just a really fun example that captures the spirit and tone of the cartoon. Check another goal off the mental wishlist!

Very cool team charging panel and an added Black Orchid appearance as well in rare animated form. Fradon's staging and sense of fluid motion captures the animated feel for comics fun.

Terrific page, Carl. And, with a rare Black Orchid appearance at the end. Couldn't ask for a better Fradon Super Friends example.
