Description

The beginning of this issue always felt a little 'off' to me, even when reading it as a child. It seemed that Buckler certainly did a good job of aping Ditko's style.

It was only after a conversation with editor Al Milgrom that I thought to take a close look at the book's credits and grokked that Rich Buckler only penciled the first few pages, and Ditko inked them before proceeding to finish the rest of the issue. Ditko inking someone else? THAT must be fairly unusual.

Wonder why Buckler left the book?
