Description

As a huge Beastie Boys fan, this is "the page" to own from Hip Hop Family Tree. Rick Rubin brought the Beasties to meet Russel Simmons, and they were dressed in du-rags - Russel thought it was some kind of joke. He made them come back later. When they did and they performed for him, he realized they were something special. The rest is history.

Awesome page! Piskor's working of these legends and the stories behind them play up the kayfabe of those mythical origins!
